CRSSD - keep the music going

DAY TWO

A beautiful Sunday with some more epic sets. We walk in day two and are instantly recharged with the positive energy. Everyone is dancing to the music and having a great time.

We caught Evan Giia's song "Westworld" as we made our entrance, and then I went with the flow for most of the day. I danced along to the energetic music at most of the sets. I didn't know very many people on the line up today.

I think we went to Ben Bohmer, and then to Steve Darko. Exhaustion was setting in, so Steve Darko's intense, dark EDM set was a lot for me to handle.

However, the next set totally revived me. Purple Disco Machine, who's music I have only heard a little bit before, totally rocked the crowd. I love disco music in general, but Purple Disco Machine takes it to a whole new level by incorporating disco into EDM. Their set was funky and groovy, but very electronic and energetic. Everyone was obsessed. They killed it.

We refilled on water and food, very important at a festival, and set out to get a good spot for the person everyone was waiting for. The festival crowd probably tripled in size that night.

Rufus Du Sol was everything I wanted and so much more.

I have loved this group's music for such a long time, it was unreal I was actually going to see them in person. Then, there they were, all three of them in their glory on stage. Technically, one of the members could not make it, so they had this other crazy drummer step in and he did not disappoint.

They played all of my favorite songs including "Underwater" and "Innerbloom." I have so many more, but those made me cry during their set, it was a beautiful moment.

One moment I don't think I will ever forget was when they ended their set and the whole festival with the song "No Place." For those who do not know it, the line is "There's no place I'd rather be." I had both my hands up, yelling the lyrics with most of the crowd because there was no place we would rather be in that moment. That will live on in my memories forever.

With Rufus Du Sol's moving music closing the festival and everyone filing out, I couldn't believe the weekend, the music, the DJs and the moments went by in a flash. I had an incredible time and loved every second.
